SUTRA Night

As Rickin was down in San Diego doing his thing (we missed you man).... Ankur, Deep, and I went with a bunch of seniors down to SUTRA Lounge in Newport Beach for Sneha Panchal's 21st birthday!

The beginning of the night was hectic, hitting up 2 dinners about 100 feet away from each other in Irvine Spectrum for Reena Parekh and the lovely Dana Patel. Seating was tough, and Rickin, Ankur, and I needed to eat fast to get to the club on time. As the clock approached 9pm, Ankur and I hit up some Italian fast food in the food court and it totally hit the spot. I gave the rest of my food to Rickin to eat so he wouldn't starve and bug his friends on the way to San Diego :).

After saying our quick "Goodbyes" and "Happy Birthdays," Rickin went off on his way and Ankur and I headed over to Triangle Square. We grabbed some beers at Chronic Cantina next door to Sutra (he grabbed a Dos Equis and I tried something new called Windmer) and then met up with the gang.

Getting in for free at clubs has been a usual thing now...And I am digging it. The club is pretty nice inside, and the music was pretty bomb. We were all having a good time for sure. Then we bounced early because the birthday girl, was, well, the birthday girl and did what every 21 year old would do on her birthday! WE LOVE YOU SNEHA :)

Heading back to Dartmouth, picking up a good friend, heading to 1516 Dartmouth to kick it with other friends for Dana's birthday, and smoking hookah at the end of the night listening to David Guetta really hit the spot for a great night before midterms.

The New Lexus LF-A

At the Tokyo Motor Show, Lexus unveiled this SICK supercar that has the classy edge that will definitely make people turn their heads when you roll up in one of these bad boys...Toyota has finally entered the competition against supercars like Ferrari and Lamborghini.

Now underneath the hood of this car is a 4.8liter, V10 engine (that's right folks) that crank 560 horsepower and goes from 0-60 in 3.7 seconds and for the speed demon, the car tops out at 202 mph.

The only thing is that they are making 500 of these, so it's super exclusive. If you have one, consider yourself guaranteed a good life :) The price sticker on this runs at $375,000. Hot damn!

Varun rocks this cologne...Probably the best cologne to hit shelves because it's so FIERCE. If you want a good cologne that isn't strong, isn't musky, isn't like an old uncle, then grab this one because no joke...The ladies love it :)

"Where's the Party, Yaar?"

Rickin had convinced Ankur and me to watch this movie, "Where's the Party, Yaar?" because he has memorized lines from it and kept raving about how stupidly funny this movie is.

He was right.

This independent film made by college students features Kal Penn in one of his acting debuts (even though he looks and acts the same like he does in every film).

While Deep was working out to get his pectoralis majors bigger, Ankur and I sat back and relaxed to this film that is so dumb and stupid, it acually makes you laugh at the ridiculous situations and sequences.

Unleash the "Wild Thing" in you...

The beloved children's book we all grew up with, or should have grown up with, OWNED the box office this weekend and the reviews from my friends in my Film and Media Studies major are pretty mixed, so I guess it depends on your experience with the film as there is no general consensus!
